The orchard is the heart and soul of this operation. The trees are what defines us as an apple farm and not just another fruit stand. We currently grow and love around seven thousand trees and approximately 150 varieties of apples. These numbers continue to increase as we plant new varieties and trees each spring. Typically, we begin picking apples mid-July and are finishing up by the end of October. Once picked, our apples are sorted and stored in a large cooler until they are sold in the Apple Barn, squeezed into sweet cider or delivered to the Café for baking.
